Job summary

Visiting Angels Midtown is seeking compassionate full-time caregivers to support clients in the Sacramento area. You will help with personal care, mobility, meals, and light housekeeping, while delivering companionship and reliable transportation for visits.

We offer flexible schedules, competitive weekly pay, and opportunities for training in dementia/Alzheimer’s care. Must meet state health and safety standards, including background checks and EVV data entry.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old and able to work legally in the US.
• Fully vaccinated and boosted against COVID-19 with shot record.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Possess a Valid Driver's License, Car Insurance, and a Reliable Personal Vehicle to transport clients.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
• Excellent time-management skills and ability to juggle multiple duties.
• Reliable transportation to client homes at scheduled times.
• Able to assist with housekeeping and cooking while adhering to dietary constraints.
• Willing to comply with health and safety standards including background checks.
• Compassion and desire to brighten each client's day.
• Must be able to use a smartphone for EVV and notes.
• Ability to pass extensive background checks including Live Scan.
• Have a negative TB screening within 90 days.
• Registered on the California Home Care Aide Registry

Full Time Caregiver Job Requirements:

• Must be 18 years old and able to work legally in the US

• Posses a Valid Drivers License, Car Insurance, and a Reliable Personal Vehicle to use to transport clients

• Feel confident in your physical endurance when it comes to things like carrying groceries and physically supporting a client
• Feel comfortable performing housekeeping and cooking duties while adhering to applicable dietary constraints
• Are willing and able to comply with state and office-specific health and safety standards (ex., background check)
• Bring compassion, understanding, and a desire to brighten the day of each client to the table
• Must be able to use a smartphone for electronic visit verification (EVV) and caregiver notes
• Ability to pass extensive background checks, including Live Scan fingerprinting
• Have a negative TB screening within the last 90 days
• Registered on the California Home Care Aide Registry
