Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Reception Arrival Management in Los Angeles, CA. You will greet visitors, manage access, monitor security systems, and respond to incidents in a campus setting. This role emphasizes frontline customer service and safety across educational environments.

Position is full-time with pay rate $22.00 per hour. Day/Evening shifts available; candidate must complete background check and drug screening as required by law and company policy.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Must be at least 18 years old (unarmed) or 21+ (armed).
• Background check required by federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen required by Allied Universal.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors and clients while following site procedures.
• Staff the front desk, greet and direct visitors, verify access and maintain logs.
• Monitor entrances, lobby activity, cameras and alarms, report unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents calmly following escalation and emergency procedures.
• Assist with access control, visitor management and information requests.
