Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Texas Peace Officer License (TCOLE) required.
• Valid Texas driver’s license required.
• Knowledge of criminal investigation, police report writing, and criminal laws.
• Ability to pass physical, psychiatric, and drug tests.
• Background in law enforcement or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Patrol campus(es) and respond to calls.
• Investigate offenses within the district’s jurisdiction.
• Collect and preserve evidence and obtain witness statements.
• Arrest offenders, file charges, and testify in court as needed.
• Prepare incident and activity reports; coordinate with other agencies.
