Job summary

Compass Group USA at Worcester Polytechnic Institute is hiring a Full Time Food Service Worker. Location: 100 Institute Road, Worcester, MA 01609. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm with open availability.

Pay rate is $16.50/hour. Benefits include Instapay and various health, retirement and wellness programs. Responsibilities include food prep, serving customers, maintaining safety standards, and assisting with inventory and cash control.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of food service experience preferred.
• Must be able to perform essential duties as outlined.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, present and serve food as needed.
• Wash, peel, cut and seed fruits/vegetables; weigh ingredients.
• Carry pans and trays between stations safely; ensure proper temperatures and portion control.
• Clean work areas and equipment; store food with proper dating and rotation.
• Provide friendly, efficient service and resolve customer concerns with supervision.
