Job summary

University of Mary in Bismarck, ND is hiring a full-time custodian to maintain clean, safe, and professional environments for the campus community. The custodian will perform routine dusting, mopping, vacuuming, restroom sanitizing, and grounds upkeep.

You will operate commercial vacuums, carpet shampooers, and floor scrubbers with training; perform safety inspections; report maintenance needs; and restock custodial supplies.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in professional cleaning, maintenance, or grounds is preferred.
• Supports the Benedictine mission of the University of Mary.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the cleanliness of assigned building and the surrounding grounds.
• Performs routine custodial duties including dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and restroom cleaning.
• Adheres to procedures to provide a safe work environment.
• Operates commercial vacuums, carpet shampooers and floor scrubbers with training.
• Performs and documents routine safety equipment inspections and tests.
• Reports maintenance concerns via work orders.
• Orders and restocks custodial supplies.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
