Pay Range: $15.75 - $19.95

Summary

Provides fast, friendly, helpful, and efficient service to all Price Chopper customers. Ensures adherence to all production and display guidelines regarding bakery products to promote sales. Operates within sanitation guidelines and procedures set by the company and state.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Consistently provide fast, friendly, helpful, and efficient customer service.
2. Greet customers with a smile, make eye contact, and thank them upon fulfilling their requests.
3. Maintain a neat, clean, and organized work station according to 5S standards.
4. Ensure customer satisfaction through product availability, quality, service, and sanitation.
5. Maintain an adequate presentation of bakery products, including a variety of cakes to meet customer needs.
6. Assist the Bakery Manager in maintaining 'Deco Pac' inventories, with actual physical counts conducted annually.
7. Maintain standards for product variety (e.g., butter crème, seasonal colors) daily.
8. Collaborate with the bakery manager to maintain production levels and manage shrinkage as per company guidelines.
9. Operate bakery equipment such as ovens, mixers, and utensils safely and effectively.
10. May serve as the lead baker in the absence of the bakery manager and first clerk.
11. Provide high levels of customer courtesy and service at all times.
12. Handle all customer special orders, such as cake orders.
13. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and sanitation regulations.
14. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 6-12 months related experience.
• Basic literacy and computer skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Positive performance reviews.
