Job summary

Littleton Regional Healthcare in Littleton, NH is seeking a dedicated Cafeteria Aide to staff the LRH cafeteria and hospital dining services. The role combines food service with cashier responsibilities, emphasizing prompt, courteous service to guests and staff.

Qualifications

Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Experience with a POS system is helpful.
Must be able to work independently.
Two years food service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Set up the cafeteria and maintain the salad and sandwich bars; assist with cleaning in the work area.
Clean tables and reset condiments as needed in the dining room.
Communicate daily menu or routine changes and report issues promptly; take corrective action when needed.
Be knowledgeable with the Point Of Sale system and cash-out procedures.
Be cross-trained for opening and closing shifts and flexible with scheduling.
Pursue ongoing training and education in the department.
Work with the shift leader, line cooks, and staff to meet food safety and sanitation standards.
Assist the shift leader with other assigned duties.
