Compass Group USA is hiring for a full-time CASHIER/FOOD SERVICE WORKER at Vanguard University in Costa Mesa, CA. The role operates the POS, assists the Chef, and maintains clean cashier stations. The schedule is Sunday through Thursday, 11:30 AM to 8:00 PM, with prior food service experience preferred.

The fixed pay rate is $19.19 per hour. Full-time and part-time benefits are available, including a retirement plan and health programs. Online applications are accepted only.

Qualifications

• Previous cashier and food service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates Point of Sale system, assists the Chef, prepares coffee, and keeps the coffee and cashier stations clean.
• Helps prepare foods such as meats, vegetables, baked goods and desserts. Also helps prepare catering orders.
• Performs cashier duties using the POS system.
• Perform general cleaning duties; removes trash and garbage to designated areas.
• Provides service in all retail areas, including cashiering and line serving.
• Cashiers according to established procedures, maintaining cash accuracy with receipts.
