Pinnacle Elementary, part of Stokes County Schools, is seeking a Bus Monitor to support student safety on the bus and assist drivers with behavior and care of riders. This full-time position includes benefits and a starting pay of $16 per hour, with opportunities for training and advancement.

Responsibilities include monitoring student behavior, assisting students with disabilities, managing boarding and disembarking, and following emergency procedures.

Formación

• High school education or GED or equivalent training and experience.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Willing to attend in-service trainings and meetings.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with the bus driver to monitor student behavior.
• Assist students with disabilities and manage discipline as needed.
• Ensure passengers are transported according to Individual Education Program needs.
• Identify and report problems to designated authority.
• Maintain knowledge of emergency evacuation procedures.
