Job summary

Frederick County Public Schools Transportation Center in Winchester, Virginia is seeking a Full-Time Bus Driver Trainer to join our Transportation team. This role offers a stable, year-round schedule and a structured pathway for professional certification.

You will bring a CDL with school bus endorsements, hold the Virginia DOE trainer certification, and have substantial experience as a bus driver and trainer.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Commercial Driver’s License with school bus, passenger, and air brake endorsements.
• A minimum of five years’ experience as a school bus driver with a minimum three years’ experience as a school bus driver trainer preferred.
• Must hold current certification from the Virginia Department of Education as a school bus driver trainer.
• Must hold, or obtain within ninety (90) days of employment, third party tester certification from the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles, for school bus, passenger, and air brakes.
• Must meet all requirements to drive a school bus for Frederick County Public Schools.
