Healing Rock Recovery is seeking a dedicated Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to join our culturally sensitive and multidisciplinary team in Billings, Montana.

Position Details:

• Title: Behavioral Health Technician.
• Location: Billings, Montana.
• Employment Type: Full-Time
• Schedule: Flexible shifts available, including evenings and weekends.

Healing Rock Recovery is a patient-centered treatment center specializing in comprehensive, evidence-based care for individuals facing SUD and mental health challenges. We believe in a holistic and supportive approach, fostering a collaborative team environment where both clients and staff thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

• Client Support & Observation: Provide support to clients during daily activities, monitor their well-being, and report observations to clinical staff.
• Therapeutic Assistance: Encourage and support clients in their recovery by reinforcing therapeutic goals under the guidance of licensed professionals.
• Vitals & Health Monitoring: If holding a Medical Assistant (MA) certification, assist with taking vitals and tracking basic health indicators.
• Safety & Crisis Intervention: Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment, assisting with crisis prevention and de-escalation when needed.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with therapists, case managers, and medical staff to ensure integrated client care.

What We’re Looking For:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Additional Medical Assistant (MA) certification is a plus but not required.
• Experience: Prior experience in behavioral health or substance use treatment preferred but not required—we provide training!
• Personal Experience: Those in recovery are strongly encouraged to apply—we value lived experience as part of our holistic approach to care.
• Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a passion for supporting others in their recovery journey.
• Cultural Competency: Commitment to providing services that are respectful and inclusive of diverse populations.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Competitive Hourly Pay: $16.50 - $20.50 per hour, depending on shift and experience.
