Job summary

UCP Heartland's ABA Clinic in St. Louis, MO is seeking a talented BCBA to join our growing team. You will develop client-centered ABA interventions, conduct assessments, and monitor progress using data to guide treatment.

Join a CARF-accredited, low-stress environment with a small caseload, no weekends or holidays, generous PTO, and collaborative, multidisciplinary support. Expect to mentor RBTs, participate in team meetings, and support families across home and community.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of related professional experience with autism spectrum disorder.
• Experience in multidisciplinary teams and early intervention
• Expert knowledge of validated methodologies for ASD
• Experience writing ABA programs and analyzing/graphing data
• Understanding of insurance practices within the medical model
• CPR certification and required medical training
• Ability to pass background checks and maintain accurate clinical notes

Responsibilities

• Develop individualized ABA interventions that are meaningful for clients and families.
• Perform thorough assessments and monitor progress with data-driven adjustments.
• Lead family guidance sessions to extend treatment to home and community.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and oversee implementation across settings.

What You'll Do

• Develop individualized, client-focused ABA interventions that are meaningful and fun for clients and their families.
• Conduct thorough assessments and continually monitor client progress, using data to guide treatment adjustments.
• Lead family guidance sessions to ensure support extends beyond the clinic and into the home and community.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and oversee treatment implementation across settings to ensure integrity and results.
• Provide mentorship and supervision to RBTs, while fostering a positive, goal-oriented team environment.
• Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to program development.
• Minimal travel to client homes and community settings as needed.

What Is REQUIRED

• At least 2 (two) years of related professional experience working with children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), with experience in a multi-disciplinary team setting.
• Familiarity with the field of early intervention
• Expert knowledge of scientifically validated methodologies and approaches found to benefit children with ASD
• Experience writing Applied Behavior Analytic programs, analyzing data and graphing data
• Expertise in all empirically evaluated assessment and intervention strategies related to program and service delivery
• Understanding of insurance practices within the medical model
• Valid CPR Certification and other medical and training requirements.
• Ability to pass a background clearance and reference check
• Demonstrates accuracy, thoroughness and timeliness with clinical notes and reports
• Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing

Schedule: Monday-Friday between the hours of 8:30AM and 4:30PM
