Job summary

Maple Blues Coffee in Craig, CO is hiring a full-time barista to handle the morning rush with a friendly, fast-paced team.

You’ll pull shots, steam milk, and craft drinks to spec, while also cooking bagel sandwiches and waffles and running the drive-thru with hospitality.

We offer paid training, a supportive crew, and opportunities for more hours and responsibility as we grow.

Pay: $21.50 - $30.50 per hour including tips. Full-time, 32+ hours a week.

Craig runs on coffee, and a lot of it comes through our window. Maple Blues Coffee is a locally owned, fast-growing drive-thru, and we’re hiring a full-time barista who can keep up - and who actually wants to.

This isn’t a slow cafe where you wipe the counter and wait. Our mornings move. If you like the feeling of a line out to the street and a crew that clicks, you’ll like it here. If you’re looking for somewhere quiet to hide, you won’t.

WHAT THIS ACTUALLY PAYS

We’d rather show you the whole number than bury it.

Base pay: $13.50 - $17.00 per hour, depending on experience

Weekend premium: an extra $1.50 per hour on every Saturday and Sunday hour

Tips: our crew averages $8 - $12 per hour

That works out to roughly $21.50 - $29.00 an hour on weekdays and $23.00 - $30.50 on weekends, based on what our people actually take home.

THE SCHEDULE

This is a full-time job - 32+ hours a week on a consistent schedule, including early mornings and weekends. Not fill-in shifts, not seasonal.

ABOUT MAPLE BLUES COFFEE

We’re locally owned and we serve specialty coffee, energy drinks, bagel sandwiches, Belgian waffles, and acai bowls. Our regulars know us by name and we know their order before they say it. We’re growing fast, which means the people who show up and get good here get first shot at more hours, more responsibility, and lead roles.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

You'll be cross-trained on both the espresso bar and the kitchen. That’s the job, not a bonus task - our best people can pull a clean shot and turn out a Southwest Bagel Sandwich in the same breath.
