Job summary

Aramark Correctional Services seeks full-time Baristas to provide exceptional service, craft beverages, assist with food prep, and handle orders and payments while maintaining cleanliness and safety standards. You will work in a fast-paced, social environment with opportunities for growth and skill development.

Responsibilities include operating a POS, greeting customers, preparing coffees and foods per brand standards, balancing cash, and adhering to health and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Previous cash handling experience preferred.
• Previous experience as a barista preferred.
• Basic math & counting skills required.
• Must be able to read and communicate in English and follow recipes.
• Complete Food Handling Certification as required.

Responsibilities

• Operate a register/POS and handle cash/credit transactions.
• Greet and assist customers while anticipating their needs.
• Prepare and serve coffees, teas, and beverages per brand standards.
• Prepare and serve food items per location standards.
• Balance cash drawer, fill cashier slip, and make deposits.
• Adhere to Aramark's cash handling policies.
• Set up and breakdown coffee bar, stations or store including cleaning.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work area.
• Stock beverage coolers, grab-and-go items, service ware and condiments.
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
