Stonebridge Hospitality Management invites applications for a Banquet Server (also Banquet Cook / Banquet Set-Up) at Hyatt Place Pena Station DIA in Denver, Colorado. This full-time role supports high-quality banquet service and event execution.

The ideal candidate will have banquet/restaurant experience, excellent guest service, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and basic math skills for handling payments.

Pay Range: $19.29 per hour

Job Summary: The Banquet Server provides food and beverage service in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner during banquet events. This role is focused on delivering high-quality service to ensure a positive experience for all guests attending dining and banquet functions.This role also includes light cooking and preparation in the kitchen, as well as table and chair set up and tear down for events.

Essential Functions and Duties:

• Maintain high standards of food and beverage quality and guest service.
• Greet guests warmly and ensure prompt service
• Food preparation in the kitchen - Light cooking
• Set up and tear down tables and chairs for banquets
• Relay orders to the kitchen and beverage services promptly.
• Observe guests to fulfill additional requests and anticipate when they have completed their meals.
• Clear and reset tables efficiently.
• Complete all assigned side work tasks during shifts.
• Maintain a clean and organized work and storage area.
• Assist with setting up, cleaning, and refreshing banquet function rooms.
• Attend department meetings and complete tasks assigned by the Banquet Manager.
• Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines, including reading and understanding MSDS.

Required Experience, Education, and Skills:

• Previous experience in banquet or restaurant service preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests.

• Basic math skills for handling payments and calculating costs.

Work Environment:

• Primarily an indoor environment with protection from weather conditions, though not necessarily from temperature changes.
• Requires standing and walking for extended periods during events.
• Frequent lifting and carrying of up to 20 lbs.
• Must be available to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
