Job summary

Elior North America is hiring a Full-Time Baker for the healthcare team at Woman's Hospital in Baton Rouge, LA. You will prepare breads, pastries and other baked goods daily, following established recipes and food safety procedures.

This onsite role offers weekly pay, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of benefits. Experience in a retail bakery is a nice-to-have, with compensation starting at $13.00 per hour, depending on experience.

The Role at a glance:

We are looking to add an energetic, motivated Full-Time Baker to our healthcare team in Baton Rouge, LA. As a Baker, you will have the opportunity to prepare a wide range of breads, pastries, and other baked goods daily.

What you'll be doing:

• Following recipes to create quality baked goods.
• Maintaining the cleanliness of equipment and the kitchen.
• Ordering ingredients and taking inventory regularly.

What we're looking for:

Must-haves:

• Ability to follow recipes and proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
• Experience using a variety of kitchen tools to produce various baked goods.
• Basic math skills for inventory management, including ordering.

Nice-to-haves:

• Experience baking in a retail environment.

Compensation Range:

• $13.00+ per hour, depending on experience
