Job summary

Chick-fil-A is hiring a Back of House Team Member in Avon, IN. You will prepare, cook, assemble, and present food safely, while learning all kitchen stations and maintaining clean, organized work areas.

This full-time role offers a flexible schedule with opportunities for growth and development within a positive team environment. Benefits include scholarship support and competitive pay, with Sundays closed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old upon hire.
• Experience in food service is a plus.
• Ability to lift 20-50 lbs as needed.
• Willingness to work Fridays and Saturdays and a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, assemble, and present food safely and efficiently to Chick-fil-A standards.
• Know assignments for all kitchen stations (fries, breading, assembling, boards, prep).
• Stock kitchen inventory as needed; keep kitchen clean and organized.
• Follow safety rules and report maintenance issues to Leadership.
• Complete opening or closing tasks as assigned and adhere to dress code.

Back of House Team Member Responsibilities:

• Prepare, cook, assemble, and present food safely, quickly and efficiently, meeting Chick‑fil‑A standards
• Be knowledgeable of the assignments for all kitchen stations, including fries, breading, assembling, boards, and food prep
• Stock kitchen inventory as needed
• Keep the kitchen neat, clean and orderly at all times
• Keep up‑to‑date with new products rolled out by Chick‑fil‑A
• Work safely around kitchen equipment and report any maintenance issues to Leadership
• Maintain personal knowledge by completing in‑house training and stay up‑to‑date on any changes
• Complete all opening or closing tasks as assigned
• Adhere to Chick‑fil‑A rules and dress code at all times
• Other duties as assigned

Availability Requirements:

-Team member must be available on Fridays and Saturdays.***

-Availabilities from 6am-2:30pm, 8am-4pm, 9am-5pm, 10am-6pm, or 11am-7pm year-round. The more availability, the better!

***Because this position is a full time position, team member must be available for 32-40 working hours per week.
