Job summary

RoShay Services seeks a Senior Automotive Technician to diagnose and perform complex mechanical and electrical repairs in our Bakersfield shop. You will lead drivability and electrical diagnostics using scan tools and ensure work aligns with manufacturer and company standards.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of automotive experience, advanced diagnostics, ASE certifications (or equivalent), and a valid driver’s license. A flexible schedule and leadership/mentoring experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of automotive experience.
• Advanced diagnostic skills and ASE certifications or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and the ability to work a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Lead vehicle inspections and diagnose drivability and electrical issues using scan tools.
• Complete advanced repairs and validate through road tests.

conducting thorough vehicle inspections, leading diagnosis of drivability and electrical issues using scan tools, completing advanced repairs, validating repairs through road tests, supporting quality control, and communicating effectively with store management and customers.

Qualifications:

minimum 5 years of automotive experience, advanced diagnostic skills, ASE certifications or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work a flexible schedule. Preferred certifications include ASE Master Technician and L1 Advanced Engine Performance. Leadership or mentoring experience is a plus.
