Mavis Tires & Brakes is hiring a full-time Automotive Mechanic for our Rowlett, TX area service centers. You will inspect, diagnose, and repair a wide range of automotive systems, including brakes and suspension, and perform state inspections when required.

The role requires 2 years of hands-on experience, a toolbox of essential personal tools, and ASE certifications (G1, A4, A5) or equivalent. We offer paid training, benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Possess 2 years of experience and/or training in automotive repair and maintenance or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Must have an extensive toolbox of personal tools used in undercar repairs.

Responsabilités

• Inspect, diagnose and perform a wide range of automotive services on customers’ vehicles.
• Carry out undercar repairs including brakes, suspension, and tires and perform related tasks.
• Complete state-mandated inspections, change oil and filters and check fluids.
• Replace worn parts and perform dismounting/mounting, balancing and rotation of tires as needed.
