Job summary

Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices in Plano, TX area is seeking a full-time Automotive Mechanic to join our service, repair and tire sales team. You will inspect, diagnose and perform undercar repairs including brakes, struts, shocks, oil changes and tire mounting.

We value reliability and safety; candidates should have 2 years of experience or equivalent training and own a personal toolbox. ASE certifications and state inspection licenses are preferred. Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• Candidates must have 2 years of experience and/or training in automotive repair and maintenance.
• Must be 18 years or older and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Extensive personal toolbox required for undercar repairs.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose and perform a wide range of automotive services.
• Handle undercar repairs such as brakes, struts and shocks, tires, and fluid checks.
• Complete state-mandated inspections, oil changes, and part replacements.
