Job summary

Bristol Bay Area Health Corporation is seeking a qualified Audiologist to deliver audiology services across the service area. The role may be TDY with a preference for a full-time position. A $15,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

The successful candidate will assess hearing disorders, provide hearing aid evaluations and fittings, and work with contract physicians and health staff to support follow-up care and discharge planning. Licensure in Alaska is required or obtainable.

Qualifications

• Doctorate (Au.D.) or Master's in Audiology from an accredited program.
• CCC-A certification by ASHA is required or preferred.
• Ability to obtain licensure as an Audiologist in Alaska.

Responsibilities

• Perform audiological tests to evaluate degree and nature of hearing loss.
• Provide comprehensive hearing aid evaluations, fittings and reprogramming.
• Collaborate with physicians and health staff to coordinate follow-up and discharge planning.
• Maintain records of services and testing for quality patient care.
• Refer patients to other services per policy and expand the Audiology program.
