Job summary

Samaritan Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Athletic Trainer for our Orthopaedics department in Moses Lake, WA. The role involves direct patient care, coordinating with physicians, and supporting daily clinic operations.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree or higher with BOC certification or active licensure in process, EPIC experience, and strong communication skills. Casting/medical experience is preferred. Monday–Thursday, 7:00am–5:30pm on-site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher.
• BOC certification and licensure or be in process to obtain it.
• EPIC experience
• Medical experience preferred.
• Casting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow patient care from check-in to check-out.
• Liaise between patient, medical staff and physician offices.
• Escort patients to exam, cast, or x-ray areas as needed.
• Collect patient history and enter data.
• Provide home exercise protocols per physician request.
• Support clinic room setup and daily stocking.
• Assist medical staff with stocking and cleaning of clinic areas.
• Prepare necessary information for pre-visit planning (test results, referrals, labs).
• Provide backup coverage to team members and community events as needed.
• Maintain professional written and verbal communication with patients and staff.
