Job summary

This position requires the ability to operate custodial equipment, maintain facilities, and work with staff and volunteers to ensure clean, safe spaces for students and events.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate a backpack vacuum, wet/dry vacuum, mowers and snow removal equipment.
• Understanding of custodial equipment care and safety best practices.
• Willingness to work a flexible athletic-season schedule including day, afternoon and evening hours.

Responsibilities

• Maintain outdoor athletic facilities and spectator areas; trim grass, pick up trash, and maintain equipment.
• Prepare fields for athletic events, including marking, dragging, and watering fields.
• Set up indoors for events and manage bleachers and backboards as needed.
• Perform safety checks on grandstands and maintain gym areas and offices.
• Dust mop gym floors and clean locker rooms, training rooms, and officials spaces.
• Replenish toilet paper, towels, and soap dispensers.
