Job summary

Valley Veterinary Hospital is seeking an experienced veterinarian to deliver compassionate, high-quality care to pets and clients. You will work collaboratively with our veterinary team to develop and implement tailored treatment plans and maintain accurate medical records in a fast-paced practice.

Qualified candidates hold a DVM or equivalent and licensure to practice in Pennsylvania, with experience in companion animal medicine and surgery.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent degree from an accredited university.
• Licensed to practice in Pennsylvania.
• Experience in companion animal medicine and surgery.
• Proficiency in performing general surgical procedures.
• Strong medical, surgical and dental skills.
• Excellent client communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and with a veterinary team.
• Compassionate and empathetic toward patients, clients, and co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, high-quality care to pets and clients.
• Collaborate with the veterinary team to create and implement tailored treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate medical records and uphold high standards of care.
• Communicate effectively with pet owners and educate them on best care practices.
• Maintain AAHA continuing education requirements (50 hours/year).
