Job summary

AAVMP in Kentucky is seeking a dedicated veterinarian to provide compassionate, high-quality care for companion animals within a collaborative team. You will work with veterinarians and support staff to develop and implement tailored treatment plans and maintain meticulous medical records.

You should communicate clearly with clients, educate them on best care practices, and uphold AAHA continuing education standards for ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent veterinary degree from an accredited university.
• Licensed to practice veterinary medicine in Pennsylvania.
• Experience in companion animal medicine and surgery.
• Proficiency in performing general surgical procedures.
• Excellent client communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Compassionate and empathetic toward patients, clients, and co-workers.
