Child Care Associate Teacher

Bright Horizons at Chicos FAS Early Education Center is now hiring in Fort Myers, FL!

  1. Full-time positions now available with:
  2. Toddlers, Preschool from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
  3. We offer competitive salaries starting at $13.50 to $16.75 per hour, based on education and experience!
  4. PREFERRED: DCF45hrs/exams completed (contingent upon state residency OR time in the field)
  5. Other amenities: a gym, daily exercise classes, food trucks several days a week, and an onsite cafe.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children
  • Maintain open communication with parents, sharing their child's daily milestones
  • Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines

Qualifications:

  • Candidates must pass required state and company background checks, and meet minimum education and experience requirements:
  • 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED required
  • 1 year of experience working in child care, daycare, or preschool settings is preferred
  • CDA, Associate, or bachelor's degree in early education or related field is preferred

Physical Requirements:

This position requires compliance with all applicable federal, state, local, Bright Horizons', and client site requirements concerning immunizations, employment physical/screening, and health and safety training. If hired, you will work in person at an early education/preschool child care center to provide supervision, care, curriculum delivery, and services per Bright Horizons' policies, procedures, and guidance, in compliance with applicable laws and regulations, ensuring the safety of children and staff.

Salary/Hourly Rate and Other Compensation:

The hourly rate for this position is between $13.75 - $16.50. The pay range listed is what Bright Horizons anticipates offering; actual offers depend on experience, education, certifications, location, and other factors.
