Full-Time Assistant Women's Volleyball Coach

POSITION SUMMARY:The Assistant Women’s Volleyball Coach must be committed to the Lordship of Christ. This not only means having the correct intellectual belief, but it also involves a radical transformation in every area of one’s lifestyle. The Coach must continually seek opportunities to grow and possess strong character traits through the regular practice of the spiritual disciplines (e.g., prayer, meditation, Bible reading) and to develop ministry values that express what God can do in impacting the student athletes with whom they interact.The primary role of the Assistant Women’s Volleyball Coach will be to spearhead the recruiting efforts within the IWU Women’s Volleyball Program. This individual will need to be relational and desire to connect with and build relationships with high school and club programs in Indiana and the surrounding states. They will also need to be able to develop a recruitment plan aimed at accomplishing our team’s recruitment goals. Additionally, this individual will need to have a collegiate volleyball coaching background and willingness to contribute to coaching, with a preference for a coach with a background in training pin hitters and team defense. There will be “other duties as assigned” throughout the year.
