Full Time Assistant Store Manager (Store 0668)

Working with minimal supervision, the Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in all store operations. This includes developing a sales culture, providing outstanding guest service, ensuring products are well-presented, and supervising staff in the absence of the Store Manager.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent guest service: greet guests, respond to questions, promote promotions, and ensure a positive shopping experience.
  • Support the shopping environment, visual merchandising, and operational initiatives.
  • Process transactions accurately using POS systems and handle guest inquiries professionally.
  • Promote loyalty programs and store initiatives.
  • Assist in training and supervising staff, providing feedback, and ensuring compliance with policies.
  • Manage scheduling, payroll, and store inventory, including stock counts and merchandise organization.
  • Ensure store cleanliness, safety, and asset protection through effective loss prevention practices.
  • Support sales goals and administrative tasks, including banking and record keeping.
  • Supervise staff and delegate tasks in the absence of the Store Manager.
Qualifications
  • Proof of identity and legal work eligibility in the U.S.
  • Minimum 18 years old.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; degree in business or related field preferred.
  • Retail management experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of video games is a plus.
Skills and Abilities
  • Outgoing personality with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills, bilingual abilities preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in POS systems and basic math.
  • Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Physical ability to stand, move, and lift up to 30 lbs.
