Supporting the Store Manager, the Assistant Store Manager oversees store operations, promotes a sales culture, and ensures excellent guest service. Responsibilities include managing product displays, assisting guests, supervising staff, and ensuring store cleanliness and organization. The role also involves supporting sales initiatives, inventory management, and staff training.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Provide excellent guest service: greet guests, respond to questions, recommend products, and promote promotions.
  2. Support visual and operational store elements to enhance the shopping environment.
  3. Process transactions accurately using POS systems and ensure top guest service.
  4. Handle guest inquiries and escalate issues when necessary.
  5. Promote guest benefits and loyalty programs.
  6. Assist in training and supervising store staff, providing feedback and recognition.
  7. Ensure staff complete onboarding and training requirements.
  8. Manage staff scheduling, payroll, and store coverage.
  9. Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and merchandise presentation.
  10. Fulfill Omni-Channel orders and ensure inventory accuracy.
  11. Protect assets through inventory control and loss prevention.
  12. Meet sales, profit, and shrink goals, and complete administrative tasks.
  13. Conduct inventory counts, stock merchandise, and reconcile transactions.
  14. Ensure safety and address hazards promptly.
  15. Maintain organized records and assist in store operations as needed.
  16. Adhere to company policies and procedures.
Qualifications
  • Proof of identity and legal work eligibility in the U.S.
  • Minimum 18 years old.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; degree in business or related field preferred.
  • Retail management experience preferred.
  • Video game knowledge is a plus.
