Full-Time Assistant Store Manager (Grand Opening)

As an Assistant Store Manager, you will support key store management functions, including supervising daily operations, managing schedules, developing operational plans, and identifying team training opportunities.

Position Details
  • Type: Full-Time
  • Hours: 38 hours/week
  • Starting Wage: $24.00/hour
  • Wage Increase: Year 2 - $25.00/hour
Responsibilities
  • Assist in developing and implementing strategies to improve store performance
  • Communicate responsibilities and expectations to team members
  • Identify and facilitate training opportunities for staff
  • Promote company values and foster teamwork
  • Monitor the competitive environment and recommend adjustments
  • Participate in hiring and onboarding processes
  • Ensure compliance with inventory, safety, and cash handling policies
  • Address customer concerns and resolve operational issues
  • Maintain store cleanliness, safety, and signage standards
  • Assist in stock management and merchandising
  • Support payroll, loss prevention, and training initiatives
  • Supervise daily team activities and escalate issues as needed
  • Uphold company policies and confidentiality
Physical Demands
  • Stocking, lifting up to 45 pounds, and operating store equipment
  • Regularly sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, and walk within the store
Qualifications
  • Must be 21 or older
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to interpret policies and manage performance
  • Experience with cash handling and store equipment
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred; 3+ years retail experience; management experience preferred
