When you join our team as an Assistant Store Manager, you’ll take on key store management responsibilities including supervising daily store activities, ensuring overall store performance, managing schedules, and developing operational plans while identifying training opportunities to grow the team.

Position Details:

• Type: Full-Time
• Hours: 38 hours/week
• Starting Wage: $24.50/hour
• Wage Increase: Year 2 - $25.50/hour

Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing and implementing action plans to improve results
• Set clear job responsibilities and performance expectations
• Identify training opportunities for team development
• Communicate and embody company values to foster teamwork
• Monitor community competition and advise on adjustments
• Provide product feedback and make recommendations
• Participate in hiring processes
• Communicate team updates and milestones
• Ensure inventory, product handling, and cash policies are followed
• Resolve customer concerns in the absence of the lead
• Maintain safety standards and store cleanliness
• Assist with stock levels and merchandising
• Maintain product quality and signage accuracy
• Support payroll, inventory, and training efforts
• Supervise daily team operations and escalate issues as needed
• Ensure customer service excellence

Physical Demands:

• Stocking, lifting up to 45 pounds, and store maintenance activities

Qualifications:

• Must be 18+ years old
• Ability to work independently and in teams
• Strong customer service and leadership skills
• Effective communication and organizational skills
• Experience with retail management and applicable certifications

Education & Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Minimum 3 years retail experience, management preferred
