We’re seeking a Full-Time Assistant Manager to lead our energetic store. You will support the Store Manager in achieving sales targets, recruiting, and developing a passionate team. Think of yourself as a combination of Harry Potter and Luke Skywalker—ready to handle any challenge while driving sales and building lasting customer relationships.

What You'll Do

• Assist your Store Manager in meeting sales goals and objectives.
• Help recruit, develop, and retain a collaborative, passionate team to operate the store.
• Create buzz and engage customers through promoting new products, leveraging social media, and offering benefits like BOPIS and curbside pickup.
• Provide leadership to ensure operational excellence, balancing tasks, delegation, and customer-first selling practices.
• Monitor shrink/loss prevention, payroll hours, and associate schedules.
• Communicate with retail leadership and HQ about trends and customer feedback.
• Analyze sales reports and data to inform strategies for hitting sales targets.
• Merchandise the store effectively, using planograms and launching promotions on time.
• Collaborate with your Store Manager to develop a high-performing, customer-focused team.

What You'll Need

• 1-2 years of retail management experience, preferably with a passion for music and pop culture.
• Proven success in leading teams, with skills in communication, recruiting, operations, and team development.
• Strong skills in communication, time management, professionalism, and operational tasks.
• High school diploma or GED; a degree is a plus.
• Ability to adapt to the fast-paced retail environment and handle challenges effectively.
• Ability to navigate the store, merchandise products, and lift up to 50 pounds.
