We’re seeking a Full-Time Assistant Manager to help lead our energetic store. You will support the Store Manager in achieving sales targets, recruiting, and developing your team. Think of yourself as a blend of Harry Potter and Luke Skywalker—ready to handle any challenge while driving sales and fostering lifelong customer relationships.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Support your Store Manager in meeting sales and comparable sales goals.
• Assist in recruiting, developing, and retaining a passionate, collaborative team.
• Create excitement and engagement through promoting new products, leveraging social media, and offering benefits like BOPIS and curbside pickup.
• Provide leadership to maintain operational excellence, balancing operational duties, delegation, and customer service.
• Monitor shrink, loss prevention, payroll hours, and staff schedules.
• Communicate with retail leadership and HQ about trends and customer feedback.
• Analyze sales reports and use data to inform strategies.
• Merchandise the store effectively, launching promotions on time and leveraging planograms.
• Develop your team of high-performing, customer-focused associates in partnership with your Store Manager.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

• 1-2 years of retail store management experience, especially if you love music and pop culture.
• Proven success in leading teams and skills in communication, recruiting, operations, and team development.
• Strong skills in communication, time management, professionalism, and operational tasks.
• A high school diploma or GED; a degree is a plus.
• Ability to adapt to the fast-changing retail environment and handle unexpected challenges.
• Basic retail skills: navigating the store, merchandising, and handling merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds.
