Job summary

Allstate Security in San Francisco, CA is seeking an Armed Security Officer to ensure safety, security, and regulatory compliance for the premises, staff, and clients. You will monitor entrances, conduct patrols, deter theft, and respond to incidents while maintaining professionalism and a visible armed presence.

The role requires a valid BSIS Guard Card, the ability to possess a firearm and duty belt, and strong written/verbal communication.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid BSIS Guard Card required.
• Must possess own firearm and duty belt.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior armed security, law enforcement, military, or high-risk security experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide a visible armed security presence at entrances and high‑risk areas.
• Monitor and control access to the facility, ensuring only authorized individuals are permitted entry.
• Conduct interior and exterior patrols of the property and surrounding areas.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, threats, or safety concerns.
• Prevent and respond to incidents involving trespassing, loitering, theft, or disorderly conduct.
• Monitor security cameras, alarms, and access control systems as assigned.
• Respond to emergencies such as medical incidents, fires, or threats to safety.
• Contact law enforcement or EMS when necessary.
• Complete detailed Daily Activity Reports (DARs), Incident Reports, and shift hand-off notes.
• Maintain professionalism and follow all company and site-specific policies and procedures.

Position Summary

The Armed Security Officer is responsible for ensuring the safety, security, and regulatory compliance of the premises, staff, clients, and property. • Ability to operate radios and assigned security equipment
• Visual and auditory awareness for monitoring surroundings
