Position Summary

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide quality care to our clients in the Venice area. As a CNA/HHA, you will assist clients with their daily needs, and provide safe, quality care in the comfort of their homes that are located in one location. No driving from house to house!

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and eating
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, promoting a positive and friendly environment
• Administer medications, as directed by healthcare professionals
• Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients
• Prepare and serve meals according to clients' dietary restrictions and preferences
• Perform light housekeeping duties, such as laundry, cleaning, and organizing
• Accompany clients to medical appointments and other outings, as needed
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all care provided

Requirements

• Valid HHA or CNA certification - (40 hrs)
• Must have current CPR certification. We accept Red Cross or American Heart ONLY (BLS PROVIDER COURSE)
• Previous experience in a similar role preferred, but not required
• Compassionate and caring attitude towards clients
• Excellent communication, must speak English
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Reliable transportation
• Proficient in basic computer skills for documentation purposes
