Job summary

Memspa in Michigan seeks an Adult Education Teacher Mentor to support adult learners across East Tawas and surrounding counties. The role blends in-person and virtual instruction, using textbooks and our online platform, with most time in Iosco, Ogemaw, and Alcona counties.

One full-time position (32-40 hours) with pay between $22 and $26 per hour, depending on non-certified/certified status, and potential steps based on experience. Eligibility to pursue certification is available.

Qualifications

• Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate; or non-certified with a bachelor’s willing to pursue certification.
• Experience with Adult Education programs preferred.
• Knowledge of educational software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and supervise instruction for assigned students.
• Communicate regularly with Adult Education participants.
• Keep appropriate records and follow district procedures.
