Job summary

Friendship Village Kalamazoo is seeking a compassionate Admissions Nurse (RN/LPN) to lead the Health Center admissions process and to foster open communication with referral sources, physicians, and third-party payers. This is a full-time position with a Monday–Friday schedule (10:30a–7p) and rotating on-call every 6th weekend.

The role includes meeting new residents and families for admission orientation, completing admission duties, performing assessments and medication reconciliation, and

• LPN or RN licensure Required
• 1+ year of long-term care experience is preferable.
• Able to work flexible hours

• Complete admission duties and paperwork where the new resident is assigned.
• Complete physical assessment, in-take forms, medication reconciliation from the discharge summary, initial care plans, and other forms relevant to the admission process.

Friendship Village is seeking a compassionate and energetic individualto join our Health Center team as an Admissions Nurse that is responsible for leading and driving the Health Center admissions process and for fostering and maintaining open, effective communication between the facility and referral sources, physicians, and third-party payers.This is a full-time, Monday-Friday 10:30a-7p position with rotating on call every 6th weekend.
