Job summary

Mid-West Textile, LLC's Eco-Spot division seeks an Eco-Spot ADC Attendant to help manage donations at the center, issue receipts, and sort merchandise into categories. You will open/close the center, process donations, provide courteous donor service, record donations accurately, and keep a neat, safe work area in line with Eco-Spot policies.

This is a full-time role with potential overtime. The position requires physical effort and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with flexible hours

Responsibilities

• Open/close the donation center on time.
• Accept or refuse donations politely according to policy.

• Maintain neat, clean, uniform appearance per Eco-Spot standards.
• Complete required paperwork neatly and accurately.
• Keep the work area clean, safe, and professional at all times.
• Record and monitor donations accurately and promptly.
• Comply with Mid-West Textile/Eco-Spot policies and attend meetings/trainings.
• Adhere to the supervisor's work schedule.

Summary of Position

The role involves receiving donations at the designated donation center, issuing receipts for donations, and sorting donated merchandise into assigned categories. The physical demands described here represent the requirements that an employee must meet to perform the essential functions of this job successfully.

Role and Responsibilities

• Responsible for the proper and timely opening/closing of the donation center.
• Accepts and refuses donations within the accepted category and in good condition politely and courteously.
• Issues a receipt for donated goods to a donor.
• Provides excellent customer service by assisting in the unloading of donated items.
• Accurately report incidents and accidents to the supervisor.
• Must be willing to maintain a neat, clean, well-groomed appearance, adhering to Eco-Spot uniform standards.
• Neatly and accurately complete required paperwork.
• Ensure the work area presents a clean, neat, safe, and professional appearance at all times.
• Accurately and timely record and monitor donations.
• Comply with all Mid-West Textile/Eco-Spot policies, including participating in store meetings and training.
• Adhere to the work schedule set by the supervisor.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
