Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Previous activity aide or long-term care experience preferred, but training is provided.
• Positive attitude with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Creative, dependable, organized, and a strong team player.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Activities in coordinating daily recreational and social programs.
• Encourage resident participation and provide one-on-one support when needed.
• Monitor engagement and communicate observations to the nursing team.
• Maintain attendance records and activity documentation.
• Help decorate the facility for holidays and events.
• Prepare activity materials and maintain inviting spaces.
• Support community events and special programs.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
