Job summary

Regina Health Center in Richfield, OH, is seeking a full-time Activities Assistant to design and lead engaging programs for residents in skilled nursing, dementia care, and assisted living. You will organize games, crafts, music, and events to bring joy, meaning, and connection to residents’ days.

What You'll Do

Reporting to our Director of Activities, you'll help design and lead engaging individual and group programs for residents in skilled nursing, dementia care, and assisted living. From games and crafts to music and special events, you'll be the spark that brings joy, purpose, and connection to our residents' days.

Your Schedule

• 5 days per week, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
• Rotating holidays
• Occasional evenings with later start times

What We're Looking For

• A genuine passion for working with and caring for older adults
• Creativity and enthusiasm for planning fun, meaningful activities
• Strong communication skills and a natural ability to connect with residents
• Comfort learning new computer programs
• Experience in a nursing home, assisted living, or dementia care setting (preferred)
• Event planning or group activity experience (a plus)
• Flexibility and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Education

• High school diploma or GED required
• Long-term care activities experience and dementia care experience preferred
