Job description

Are you a GREAT teammate? Do you LOVE planning events and activities? Our Lighthouse Senior Living community is looking for a part-time Activities Assistant. This exciting position is located in our Ellicott City location, offering an opportunity to be creative and impactful. As part of the Activities team, you will be involved in planning, developing, organizing, and implementing residents' activities. The hourly rate starts at $16.00, with room for experience.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist with the planning, development, organization, and implementation of community resident activities to meet residents' spiritual, emotional, recreational, and social needs.
• Track resident engagement in activities and provide debriefs to families and the Director of Memory Care & Life Enrichment.
• Support family education programs and encourage family involvement in activities that support residents' holistic well-being.
• Maintain and communicate a schedule of varied activities to appeal to different interests and capabilities, promoting participation.
• Manage craft and recreational supplies to support residents' independent engagement in hobbies and crafts.
• Create and foster an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest, and positivity in leading activities and interacting with staff.
