Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Guard Full Time Access Control in Mauldin, SC to protect clients across industries including chemical/petrochemical locations. You will perform unarmed patrols, monitor access points, verify credentials, and respond to incidents while delivering excellent customer service.

The role requires a valid driver’s license and a high school diploma or equivalent, with potential for growth through training and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and delivery drivers while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related responsibilities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, process areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations, reporting unusual conditions or hazards according to site procedures.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor authorization, and contractor entry requirements in accordance with established site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate site personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain activity logs for patrols, incidents, access-related events, and other assigned duties.
