Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Guard Unarmed – Access Observation in Blythewood, SC. You will protect clients across industries, provide customer service, and deter incidents with visible patrols at a manufacturing site.

Requirements include at least 2 years in security or law enforcement, a valid driver’s license, and compliance with background checks and drug screening. Day-evening shifts and full-time schedules apply.

Qualifications

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Possess at least 2 years of law enforcement, military, and/or corrections experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Background investigation and drug screen may be required.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and critical situations calmly and escalate as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas and perimeters.
• Monitor access to restricted areas; verify visitor and contractor authorization.
• Report maintenance concerns, hazards, and security issues to site leadership.
