Motor Technology, Inc. is seeking a 1st Shift Industrial Electronics Service Technician I to diagnose, repair, and maintain a range of electronic systems in industrial settings.

You will use advanced testing equipment and ensure equipment runs reliably, safely, and efficiently. The role requires hands-on experience with electromechanical rotating equipment, DC/AC drives, and schematics, with a commitment to safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• 3+ years of experience with industrial electromechanical rotating equipment, including AC variable frequency drives and DC drives.
• Able to read schematics.
• Basic understanding of pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Comfortable working with customers.
• Good computer skills.
• Provide tools and toolbox.
• Able to lift up to 50lbs.
• PLC experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, diagnose, repair, and maintain various types of electronic systems and components to ensure equipment operates correctly, efficiently, and safely.
• Perform infrared thermography, motor testing, DC to AC retrofits, electrical troubleshooting, and power quality testing.
• Design, build, and install motor control and drive systems, including VFDs, soft starts, and starter replacements.
• Prioritize workplace safety by following procedures and using protective equipment.

Full-time 1st Shift Industrial Electronics Service Technician I

Pay: $28-$38 per hour

Schedule: Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with weekend duty every four weeks, along with overtime and on-call opportunities.

What You'll Do:

As a 1st Shift Industrial Electronics Service Technician, you will install, diagnose, repair, and maintain various types of electronic systems and components to ensure our customers' equipment operates correctly, efficiently, and safely.

Your responsibilities will include infrared thermography, baker motor testing, DC to AC retrofits, electrical troubleshooting, and power quality testing. You will also design, build, and install motor control and drive systems, along with VFD, soft starts, and starter replacements. You will prioritize workplace safety by following procedures, wearing protective equipment, and supporting team efforts to maintain high service standards.

Who We're Looking For:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• 3+ years of experience with industrial electromechanical rotating equipment, including AC variable frequency drives and DC drives
• Able to read schematics
