Job summary

McFarland Villa Assisted Living is currently seeking a Full-Time 1st Shift (6AM-2PM) CBRF Caregiver with rotating weekends to join our team of dedicated professionals who want to make a difference in the lives of our residents, their families and our community. The Caregiver supports residents with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, socialization, cognition, and physical health.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• CBRF Certifications (Standard Precautions, First Aid, Fire Safety) preferred.
• Current CPR certification preferred.
• Meets age requirements according to facility policy and state regulations.

About The Opportunity

The Caregiver supports residents with activities of daily living including personal hygiene, socialization, cognition, and physical health. Encourages resident independence, supports resident choice and preserves resident dignity through professional conduct and interactions.

• Displays personal initiative to complete work without constant supervision.
• Demonstrates consistent work attendance as scheduled and addresses work related problems with the proper individuals.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior direct care experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED.
• CBRF Certifications preferred: Standard Precautions, First Aide, & Fire Safety.
• Current CPR certification preferred.
• Meets age requirements according to facility policy and state regulations.
