Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all state, federal, and local laws, policies, and procedures.
• Adhere to the North Carolina Professional Teaching Standards.
• Plan and implement a program of study in the assigned content area that meets the needs, interests, and abilities of assigned students.
• Instruct students individually and in groups using various teaching methods.
• Assess student progress and maintain accurate records such as IEPs/504 Plans.
• Communicate with parents/guardians, counselors, and administrators to resolve challenges.
