Job summary

Black Eagle Defense is seeking a Web Developer I to build, maintain, and improve enterprise web services deployed in AWS. You will work independently and in a small agile team, owning features from concept through release and sustainment, contributing to analytics, real-time processing, and large data solutions.

The role requires strong front-end and back-end skills, experience with APIs, databases, and secure coding practices, plus familiarity with Linux and CI/CD.

Qualifications

• Seven (7) years of SWE experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems supporting enterprise web services in AWS environments.
• Lead ownership of features from design through implementation, testing, deployment, and sustainment.
• Contribute to analytics, real-time systems, and large-scale data solutions across platforms.
• Review and test software components, document results, and resolve issues within SDLC guidelines.
