The Role: Full Stack Web Developer

The Team:

We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and skilled software engineer for S&P Global Market Intelligence. This developer will help us accelerate our Energy Transition work.

The Impact: As a Full Stack Web Developer, you will be part of the development team that manages and supports internal applications supporting Energy Dataset.

Responsibilities:
  • Solve problems, analyze, and isolate issues.
  • Build solutions to support key business needs.
  • Engineer components and common services based on standard development models, languages, and tools.
  • Produce system design documents.
  • Collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical partners.
  • Quickly learn new and internal technologies.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
  • 2-3 years of significant experience in web development.
  • Programming Languages and Libraries: C#, ASP .NET MVC, .NET Core, Docker, JavaScript, jQuery, Typescript, HTML, Front End Web Development.
  • Good database concepts and experience with SQL Server T-SQL, PostgreSQL.
  • Interface Protocols & Standards: HTTP, JSON, Restful Services, MS Web API.
  • Frameworks and Patterns: SPA Framework, Entity Framework, WCF, MVVM, MVP.
  • Experience with GraphQL, Micro Frontend, ReactJS is preferred.
  • Operating Systems: Windows.
  • Processes: Scaled Agile Framework, Software Engineering, Object-Oriented Software, Design Patterns, Agile Programming, Cross-browser Compatibility.
  • Ability to resolve performance issues through testing, debugging, and profiling.
  • A proactive "roll up the sleeves and get it done" attitude; proven success as a problem solver, client-focused self-starter.
