Job summary

GCS Recruitment is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to join our team in Washington, DC. The role emphasizes building scalable front-end and back-end systems with React.js, Node.js, Golang, and Python, leveraging AWS, microservices, and Kubernetes.

You will collaborate with Product, UX, and Engineering to deliver high-performance applications, ensure robust CI/CD, and maintain strong integration between frontend and backend components.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with React.js and full-stack development.
• Hands-on Node.js, Golang and/or Python.
• Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable frontend applications using React.js.
• Develop backend APIs and services with Node.js, Golang, or Python.
• Build and maintain microservices and distributed systems.
• Develop and deploy cloud-based apps using AWS.
• Work with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, UX Designers, and Engineers to deliver new features.
• Ensure seamless frontend-backend integration with performance focus.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and CI/CD automation.
• Document technical designs, APIs, and workflows.
• Work closely with UX designers to ensure implementations match the intended user experience.
