Job summary

Global Payments Inc. is seeking a Full Stack Lead Developer to drive architecture, design and implementation of scalable full-stack applications. You will bridge complex business logic with React.js frontend experiences and a Snowflake data layer.

You will lead Agile ceremonies, mentor engineers, and ensure secure, compliant development practices across PCI standards while delivering high-quality, data-accurate solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 6+ years of professional full-stack design and software development.
• 3+ years in a technical lead or mentorship role.
• Strong Agile/Scrum experience with leading iterative delivery.
• Advanced Java (Backend) and JavaScript/TypeScript with React.js expertise.
• Experience with relational databases/data warehouses (Snowflake preferred) and advanced SQL tuning.
• Ability to translate ambiguous enterprise requirements into clean, scalable code.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers as the SME in full-stack development.
• Architect and build secure, high-performance applications using Java/Spring Boot and React.js.
• Design and optimize the data layer to ensure fast UI-backend-Snowflake interactions.
• Lead Agile ceremonies and collaborate with Product Owners to convert business needs into tasks.
• Drive security decisions around credential management and API security to align with PCI standards.
• Oversee comprehensive unit and integration testing to ensure data accuracy across complex hierarchies.
